Science Fiction mixed with furry fandom w00t everybody.

On a side note. I'm not a "fur" but I write stories for the fandom on occasion. A wolf on two legs in writing isn't all that different from an alien species. What can I say? I love "Anthro" art, but I'm not into the erotic stuff.

Plot
After the plague, the contiental Government of North America has struggled to restore peace to the world. The "Third World" no longer exists. Survival of the strongest economies and most independent is all that remained. Genetics research has been transformed into an amazing feet of science. Anthropomorphic soldiers are more reliable than the limited amount of technology. North America has hold on the world's most advanced technology and isn't sharing. It's a matter of self defense. With a deciemented China and a socialist Europe that's hanging by a thread being the only living groups of people remaining the rest of the world isn't ready for advanced technology.
The situation becomes more complicated as an alien species becomes interested with the North American's genetics research which has advanced well beyond the capabilities of the civilized galaxy. Earth is brought to the front of intergalactic politics. It is not a comfortable position for the government of North America. They purchase a ship from the few alien allies they have and prepare to send enough humans to form a colony world some thousands of light years away in hopes that if Earth is destroyed humans will live on.
Anthropomorphic soldiers will be the colony's only defense. Two soldiers, one a leopard sniper and the other a coyote scout, will be the first to step on the new world. Everything depends on their ability to assess the dangers and design a defense to protect the colony before the ship's supplies run out and it's forced to land.

I'm behind and I have no motivation. My story is fading and I have no idea where to take my characters. help... please....

I'm catching up to my minimum of 6,668 words. It really doesn't take all that much time to get over a 1,000 words out if you are inspired. I take inspiration from any where and anything right now. Today's stuff was inspired by my morning devotions.
I've just realized I'm suffering from loneliness, quite badly. Because of the bad weather I haven't seen any friends for the last two weeks. I've been locked up in the house for that entire time. Perhaps I can meet with a friend tonight and go to a concert I'd like to see. I just hope I can go to church this Sunday. I'm in serious need of social activity.

Running just a bit behind on my word count. No time for a long entry. I'm quite enjoying this. I need to stop chating with friends online. Thursday is going to be a pain. I have a mid term to study for tonight and still 1,000 words to go. Thurday nights I need to go out with friends. It's not an optional activity. It's techincally a church service but it's required for my spiritual and social needs or I will go insane. I'll have to spend Thursday morning working on word count. I was hoping to avoid caffeine because I work best off the stims and well rested. I'll be doing caffeine and less sleep. I need to buy something with caffeine and still eat somewhat healthy so I don't have a body crash. (Those suck) I will probably be skipping church one of these days. I was smart to choose to do this during sprin break but I'm worried that having too much free time will kill my momtenum. I'll have to see about working some 6 hour shifts at work to keep the pressure on.

Gotta see about some shopping and studying before more writing. Night all.
